Paul Muntean
Paul Muntean (born October 4, 1984 in Baia Mare ) is a Romanian bobsledder .
Muntean began bobsleigh in 2002 and was included in the national team that same year. In 2013 he took part in the Bobsleigh World Championship in St. Moritz as a pusher for the Romanian four-man bobsleigh, which came in 26th. In 2014 he took part in the Winter Olympics. In Sochi the Romanians finished 24th with the bobsleigh driven by Andreas Neagu . For the 2018 Olympic Games in Pyeongchang , Muntean was initially only nominated as a substitute athlete. After the injury of Ciprian Daroczi , Muntean was accredited for the Romanian four-man bobsleigh and finished 29th with it.
