The International Olympic Committee withdrew the gold medal from the Russian team with Alexander Subkow and Alexei Wojewoda on November 24, 2017 for doping offenses. Fourth-placed Russian Bob with Alexander Kasyanov and Maxim Belugin was the bronze medal for the same reason disallowed . On March 26, 2019, the IOC awarded the medals to the teams behind them.

The fourth-placed Bobsleigh Russia 2 ( Alexander Kasjanow , Maxim Belugin , Ilwir Chusin , Alexei Pushkarev ) was also disqualified. On March 26, 2019, the IOC awarded the medals to the teams behind them.
