Christian Poser (born August 16, 1986 in Cottbus ) is a German bobsleigh driver .

Career

Christian Poser has been pushing bobsleigh since 2008. In 2010 he finished 4th in a four-man at the Junior World Championships.

At the 2011 Bobsleigh World Championship at Königssee, one of the pushers of pilot Manuel Machata was world champion in the four. A year later he won the bronze medal at the Bobsleigh World Championships in Lake Placid together with Manuel Machata, Marko Hübenbecker and Andreas Bredau .

Poser made his Olympic debut at the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi in the bobsleigh of pilot Thomas Florschütz . Together with Kevin Kuske and Joshua Bluhm , he reached seventh place.

A year later, the Cottbuser pushed Nico Walther's four-man bobsleigh to the silver medal at the 2015 Bobsleigh World Championship in Winterberg .

At the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang , he competed in both two-man and four-man bobsleigh. The duo took fourth place in Nico Walther's two-man bobsleigh . In Johannes Lochner's four-man bobsleigh , Poser achieved eighth place together with the other two pushers Christopher Weber and Christian Rasp .
