Paul Peel

Paul Peel (born November 7, 1860 in London (Ontario) , † October 3, 1892 in Paris ) was a Canadian painter.

His work is committed to academic art .

In 1890 he won a bronze medal at the Salon de Paris with the work After the bath and thus became one of the first Canadian artists to achieve world fame during his lifetime. He died of a lung disease at the age of 32.
