Paul Peuker

Paul Peuker (born December 12, 1987 in Freiberg ) is a German jazz musician ( guitar , also piano , composition ).

Peuker discovered the guitar as a young teenager and was initially inspired by Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd . From 2007 to 2013 he first studied jazz guitar at the Carl Maria von Weber University of Music in Dresden , before completing a master's degree in composition.

Peuker lives in Berlin today. He leads his own ensembles Axiom and Peuker8 ; He also works as a sideman in several ensembles, but also in the collaborative improvisation trio Das Eismeer . He composes for various ensembles, from string trio to big band (Berlin Jazz Composers Orchestra, JugendJazzOrchester Sachsen: Three Atmospheres ) to drama music. So far he has released seven albums under his own name. He can also be heard on Mara von Ferne albums.
