Paul Pospiech , Polish: Paweł Pośpiech, (born January 22, 1878 in Kokoschütz , † March 23, 1922 in Pless ) was a Polish Catholic clergyman and a member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Pospiech attended elementary school in Kokoschütz and the grammar school in Ratibor , where he graduated from high school in 1899. From 1899 to 1902 he studied Catholic theology in Breslau and in 1903 he was ordained a priest. He was an honorary member of the Polish professional association, Vice President of the Federation of Polish Choral Societies of Upper Silesia and a member of the supervisory board of Bank Ludowy in Katowice . Later he was vicar and chaplain in Katowice. He was a member of the Reichstag from 1912 to 1918 for the constituency of Opole 7 ( Pless , Rybnik ) and the Polish parliamentary group , after Mathias von Brudzewo-Mielzynski, who was elected twice in the main election, did not accept the mandate.
