Paul A. Rothchild
Paul Allen Rothchild (born April 18, 1935 in New Jersey , † March 30, 1995 in Los Angeles ) was an American music producer in the 1960s and 1970s.
Roth Childs career began in Boston - folk scene. From 1963 he worked for the Elektra Records label . He is best known as the producer of The Doors . He has also produced records by Phil Ochs , Tim Buckley , Janis Joplin and the Paul Butterfield Blues Band . He often worked with music producers Bruce Botnick , John Haeny and Fritz Richmond . Rothchild was also active in the film business. He produced the soundtracks for The Rose and for Oliver Stone's film The Doors .
