Paul Savary (born November 2, 1982 in Morges ) is a former Swiss ice hockey player who was active in the National League A for Genève-Servette HC and Lausanne HC for many years . In addition, Savary completed 32 international matches for the Swiss national team .

Career

Paul Savary began his career as a hockey player in the youth department of the Genève-Servette HC , for the first team in 1999 until 2002 in National League B played and with whom he subsequently promoted to the National League A reached. Since then, the center has been a regular in the NLA. After the rise of Geneva, he also came to a total of three missions for the NLB clubs HC La Chaux-de-Fonds and HC Sierre between 2002 and 2004 . For the NLB playoff final of the 2012/13 season he was on loan from Lausanne HC , with which Savary won the National League B championship. In May 2013 he was signed by the canton of Vaud and given a three-year contract after they had achieved promotion to the National League A.

In November 2016, Savary was loaned to HC Red Ice from the NLB and played there until the end of the 2016/17 season. He then ended his career and became an amateur trainer at Genève-Servette HC.

International

For Switzerland , Savary took part in the 2010 World Cup in Germany . In this he gave one assist in seven games.
