Paul Scheuerpflug
Paul Scheuerpflug (born July 3, 1896 in Netphen , Westphalia , † August 8, 1945 in a prisoner-of-war camp near Auschwitz ) was a German officer , most recently Lieutenant General in World War II .
Life
Scheuerpflug served as an officer in the First World War . After the end of the war he served in the Reichswehr . In the Wehrmacht he led the 68th Infantry Division as commander during the Second World War .
