Paul Scholz (politician, 1822)

Paul Joseph Scholz (born April 8, 1822 in Starrwitz near Ottmachau , Grottkau district , † January 27, 1908 ) was a German manor owner and member of parliament.

Life

Paul Scholz studied law at the Silesian Friedrich Wilhelms University in Breslau . In 1843 he became a member of the Corps Borussia Breslau . After graduating, he completed the legal clerkship. As a court assessor a. D. he became the owner of the Starrwitz manor. In the Prussian Army he obtained the rank of first lieutenant.

From 1870 to 1885 Scholz sat as a member of the constituency Oppeln 10 (Neisse, Grottkau) in the Prussian House of Representatives . At first he belonged to the faction of the Free Conservative Party . From November 1872 he was non-attached and moved to the center's faction in 1873 at the beginning of the 12th legislative period .
