Paul Smura
Paul Smura (born December 26, 1889 in Schwerin an der Warthe (today: Skwierzyna / Poland), † June 16, 1957 in Munich ) was a German painter and trade unionist.
After an apprenticeship as a painter, Smura worked as a painter and manager in Ansbach from 1910 . From 1922 until his dismissal in 1933 he was a union employee in Ansbach, Karlsruhe and Munich. From 1945 to 1957 he was the first chairman of the Bavarian regional management of IG Bau-Steine-Erden and at the same time the third national board member of the union.
From December 4, 1947 until his death he was a member of the Bavarian Senate .
