Paul Spahn
Paul Emil Spahn (born June 30, 1914 , † March 2002 ) was a Swiss news anchor .
In 1942 Paul Spahn received his doctorate with a dissertation Die Filmtheater in der Schweiz at the University of Bern . Spahn was in the whole German-speaking Switzerland known as speaker of the evening news of the Swiss television between 1959 and 1985. His death was first publicized in January 2003, triggered by a spectator letter to the Tagesschau editorial team that had nothing to know. As a trained actor, Spahn also played in films, most recently in the 1988 film comedy Macao - The Back of the Sea by Clemens Klopfenstein . From 1971 to 1994 he was a full-time teacher at his own business school in Zurich.
