Paul von Salisch

Paul von Salisch (born June 2, 1826 in Jeschütz , Silesia , † May 20, 1883 ) was a Prussian landowner and politician. He was a landowner on Ober-Kehle and Nieder-Kehle in the districts of Trebnitz , Jeschütz and Kadlau.

His parents were Rudolf Georg Gustav von Salisch (* June 13, 1797; † February 28, 1861) and his first wife Charlotte August von Köckeritz (* July 10, 1801; † December 7, 1841). After his mother's death, his father married Johanna von Rehdinger in 1845 (* August 2, 1811, † March 26, 1873). His brother Arthur (1829–1885) was also a member of parliament, his half-brother Karl Wilhelm Rudolph Heinrich (1846–1920) was a famous forester.

Life

Salisch embarked on an administrative career and was initially a consultant in the Wroclaw district government, and since 1854 in Magdeburg. From 1855 until his death he was district administrator of the Trebnitz district. From 1866, also until his death, he was a member of the Prussian mansion at the presentation of the Association of Old and Fortified Real Estate in the Principality of Oels .
