Arthur von Salisch

Rudolf Arthur Otto von Salisch (* December 12, 1829 in Jeschütz, Trebnitz district ; † May 16, 1885 in Kratzkau near Groß Merzdorf , Schweidnitz district , Silesia province ) was a German manor owner and member of parliament.

origin

His parents were Rudolf Georg Gustav von Salisch (* June 13, 1797; † February 28, 1861) and his first wife Charlotte August von Köckeritz (* July 10, 1801; † December 7, 1841).

Life

Arthur von Salisch attended high school in Breslau . After graduating from high school in 1847, he studied at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . In 1849 he became a member of the Corps Saxo-Borussia Heidelberg . After studying and serving in the Prussian Army , where he achieved the rank of lieutenant, he completed the government traineeship and passed the government assessor exam. He then became the owner of the Jeschütz manors in the district of Trebnitz, Postel, Ober- and Nieder-Kehle in the district of Militsch , Gohlitsch and Kratzkau, in the district of Schweidnitz, as well as Kadlau, Penkendorf and Bischdorf. He was district deputy in Kratzkau near Ingramsdorf .

Salisch sat from 1866 to 1867 as a member of the constituency of Breslau 6 in the Prussian House of Representatives . He belonged to the faction of the Conservative Party .

family

He married Elisabeth Marie von Schlegel (born June 12, 1846) on June 27, 1867, a daughter of Major General Wolf Bruno von Schlegel . The couple had several children:
