Marcinowice ( German Groß Merzdorf ) is a Polish town in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in the Powiat Świdnicki . It is the seat of the municipality of the same name.
geography
The municipality is located in the Sudeten foreland in a valley of the Schweidnitzer Weistritz about seven kilometers northeast of the city center of Świdnica . The municipality also borders the Ślęża Landscape Park ( Ślężański Park Krajobrazowy ), a popular local recreation area.
