Paul von Zitzewitz

Paul Gneomar Carl Adolph von Zitzewitz (born April 7, 1843 in Langeböse ; † 1906 ) was a German manor owner and member of parliament.

origin

His parents were Julius August von Zitzewitz (* May 24, 1802; † September 19, 1882) and his wife Cölestine Erdmuthe von der Marwitz (* November 21, 1819; † February 25, 1847).

Life

Paul von Zitzewitz studied law and political science at the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Berlin and the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn . In 1865 he became a member of the Corps Vandalia Berlin . In the same year he joined the Corps Guestphalia Bonn . After graduating, he worked in the judiciary until 1870. Then he was the administrator of his manor in Langeböse near Lauenburg in Pomerania until 1895 , which he then had to sell to Herbert von Massow. Most recently he lived in Berlin .

From 1879 to 1885 Zitzewitz was a member of the Köslin constituency 1 (Lauenburg, Bütow, Stolp) in the Prussian House of Representatives . He belonged to the faction of the Conservative Party .

He married Countess Editha Frieda Ursula von Itzenplitz on March 11, 1873 in Potsdam (* December 14, 1842, † January 31, 1895). The marriage remained childless.
