Paulina Schmiedel (born May 29, 1993 in Mülheim an der Ruhr ) is a German swimming athlete .
Career
In 2013 Schmiedel moved from SG Essen to Hamburg to join AMTV-FTV.
successes
In 2011 Schmiedel took part in the European Short Course Championships in Szczecin and won gold in the 4 × 50 m freestyle relay.
At the German Short Course Championships in 2012 , Schmiedel took first place over 100 meters butterfly.
At the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro , Schmiedel took part in the competition for the 4 × 200 meter freestyle relay and came in 12th there.
