Pauline Yvonne Ladiges
Pauline Yvonne Ladiges (born January 19, 1948 in Bolton , England ) is a British - Australian botanist . Your botanical author abbreviation is " Ladiges ".
Ladiges is a professor of botany and has headed the School of Botany at Melbourne University since 1992 . She is also deputy director of the Royal Botanic Gardens (Melbourne) and a member of the Australian Biological Resources Study (ABRS) Advisory Committee, which advises the Minister of the Environment on the award of grants and training.
She mainly deals with the systematics of plants, the phylogenesis and classification of eucalyptus , acacia and other large genera on the basis of their morphology and molecular data, as well as with the biogeography of the Australian flora.
