Pauliukai is a village with 32 inhabitants (as of 2011) in Lithuania , in the Rajongemeinde Jonava , in the district of Žeimiai . In the twentieth century, the Pauliukai District ( Pauliukų apylinkė ), a Soviet administrative-territorial unit in central Lithuania, in the Kėdainiai District , was established. The area was dissolved between 1950 and 1954. In the village there is a post office (LT-55400), an agricultural company ŽŪB "Pauliukai". In the municipality there is BC "Pauliukai" (plays in the amateur league of the Rajongemeinde and in the association Asociacija "Jonavos krepšinio mėgėjų lyga").
ŽŪB Pauliukai
ŽŪB "Pauliukai", based in Juškonys, is one of the largest agrarian societies in the district. The agricultural areas are located between the towns of Žeimiai and Šėta ( Kėdainiai district ). The company is active in crop production, cattle and pig farming. It owns around 2400 hectares of land and has 1700 cattle (including 700 dairy cows ). The company had tens of thousands of pigs in Soviet Lithuania for many years . In midsummer 2011 the swine fever virus reached. As a livestock owner, the company should immediately and unconditionally meet the legal requirements for the destruction of the extremely dangerous contagious animal diseases and destroy 12,500 pigs. The government of Lithuania financially supported the company with 508,000 litas (of which 206,000 litas from the privatization fund).
