Paulo Américo Veiga Wolowsky

Paulo Américo Veiga Wolowski (born October 10, 1946 in Curitiba ) is a Brazilian diplomat .

Life

Paulo Américo Veiga Wolowsky is the son of Justina Veiga Wolowski and Vitoldo Zeroslau Wolowski. 1971 completed the Curso Preparatório da Carreira Diplomática of the Rio Branco Institute and entered the foreign service. A year later he graduated from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro with a degree in law . In 1996 he presented the work O novo Brasil eo novo Moçambique: a busca de parâmetros de uma parceria sustentável , as part of the Curso de Altos Estudios of the Rio Branco Institute .

From 1973 to 1975 Wolowsky was employed in the Department of Serviço de Privilégios e Imunidades, Ceremonial , which he was last head of as master of ceremonies. He was then transferred to Quito as third-class legation secretary until 1977 and then as second-class legation secretary until 1979 to Ottawa . After being appointed Secretary of the First Class, he worked in Baghdad from 1983 to 1986 and then in Warsaw until 1988 .

Finally, Wowolsky was appointed as ambassador to Accra and Ouagadougou from May 29, 1998 to August 1, 2006 , and from January 25, 2002, he also took over the embassy in Lomé , based in Accra. From August 1, 2006 to August 11, 2010 he was appointed ambassador in Sofia , where he was also appointed ambassador to Skopje on December 7, 2006 and ambassador to Sarajevo on February 7, 2007 .

Wolowsky has been Ambassador to Brazzaville since August 11, 2010 , where he was also appointed Ambassador to Bangui ( Central African Republic ) on July 11, 2011 .
