The embassy is located at rue de l'Organización Común Africana y Malgache (OCAM) 119 in Lomé .

history

In 1962 the governments of Brazil and Togo established diplomatic relations. Until 1978 the ambassadors resided next to the government of Gnassingbé Eyadéma in Accra .

International attention was paid to the fact that from April 10th to 11th, 1991, the regime of Gnassingbé Eyadéma abused, murdered and threw 28 people into the lagoon of , a district of Lomé . The Brazilian embassy in Lomé subsequently headed a chargé d'affaires.
