List of Brazilian ambassadors in Germany
This is the list of Brazilian diplomatic representatives in Germany . The Brazilian ambassador to Germany resides in the Brazilian embassy at Wallstrasse 57 opposite the Märkisches Museum in Berlin .
In 1846 the Brazilian ambassador Marquês de Abrantes resided in a tenement house on Unter den Linden 78. From 1928 to 1932 the embassy was located at Tiergartenstrasse 4a: In 1750, a single-storey annex was built on the property at Tiergartenstrasse 4 for Heinrich von Kleist's villa at Tiergartenstrasse 4a, at the corner of Mattäikirchestrasse . In 1910 Georg Liebermann acquired the house from the heirs of Valentin Weisbach , when he died in 1927 his son Hans Liebermann and his daughter Eva Köbner inherited the house .
From 1933 to 1938 the legation seat was at Tiergartenstrasse 25, a former address of Joseph von Eichendorff . From 1938 to 1942, the Japanese embassy was built here according to plans by Ludwig Moshamer . From 1938 to 1942 the embassy was located at Koenigsallee 16. From 1950 the embassy was located at the Bonn government seat , and from 1975 to 1999 at 74 Kennedyallee in the Bad Godesberg district .
