Abelardo Bueno do Prado

Abelardo Bretanha Bueno do Prado (born January 8, 1896 in Jaguarão , Rio Grande do Sul , † December 21, 1961 ) was a Brazilian diplomat .

Career

Bueno do Prado studied human medicine at the University of Rio de Janeiro and graduated with a doctorate. He began his diplomatic career in 1921, was initially secretary in Prague from 1921 to 1923 and from 1923 to 1926 he was at the Brazilian embassy in Caracas . Employment in Lisbon and as ambassador in India and Panama followed . From September 26, 1955 to 1960, he was the Brazilian ambassador in Bonn . He was a signatory of the founding act of the German-Brazilian Society.
