Paulo Jorge Pedro Lopes (born June 29, 1978 in Mirandela ) is a former Portuguese football goalkeeper .
Career
society
Paulo Lopes began his career as a goalkeeper in 1997 at the Portuguese football club Benfica Lisbon . There he played for the Portuguese record champions for five years, but in between he was loaned to the Portuguese football clubs Gil Vicente FC (1999/00) and FC Barreirense (2000/01). After leaving Benfica in 2001/02, he played for other clubs such as SC Salgueiros , CF Estrela Amadora , CD Trofense and CD Feirense , until he returned to Benfica Lisbon at the start of the 2012/13 season.
