Paweł Olszewski

Paweł Bartosz Olszewski (born December 11, 1979 in Bydgoszcz ) is a Polish politician of the Platforma Obywatelska ( Civic Platform ).

Life

From 1994 to 1998 Paweł Olszewski attended the 1st general high school Cyprian Kamil Norwid . He then studied management and marketing at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan . Olszewski completed his studies in 2003 with a master's degree . From 2003 to 2004 he was the export manager of a furniture factory at Schieder Möbel Holding in Bydgoszcz. In July 2004 he moved to Skraw-Mech Sp. Z oo as finance director and authorized signatory

He is the son of Wiesław Cezary Olszewski , who was a voivode of the Bydgoszcz Voivodeship as a member of the Sojusz Lewicy Demokratycznej ( Union of Democratic Left ) .

Political career

In 2001 Paweł Olszewski joined the citizens' platform. From 2002 to 2003 he was a board member of Młodzi Demokraci ( Young Democrats ), the youth organization of the Civic Platform, and regional chairman for the Kuyavian-Pomeranian region . From 2002 to 2005, Olszewski was a member of the Bydgoszcz City Council. In the parliamentary elections in 2005 , he was able to win a seat for the Sejm . In 2006 he became chairman of the citizens' platform in Bydgoszcz. and was able to defend his parliamentary seat in the early elections the following year . He was also able to win a parliamentary seat again in the 2011 elections with 9,257 votes.
