Dadlez's work is dominated by realism and enriched in a later phase by elements of Polish colorism . His still lifes are reminiscent of the old Dutch masters and the work of Jean Siméon Chardin . His motifs are often simple objects of daily use, the representation unsophisticated. In addition to still lifes, he painted portraits, nudes and genre pictures . He also dealt with various graphic techniques ( drypoint , linoleum and woodcut ).

Dadlez has been exhibited in Poland several times, including by Towarzystwo Artystów Polskich "Sztuka" and "Kwadryga". In 1936 his pictures were shown at the art competitions of the Summer Olympics . Pictures by Dadlez are in the possession of the National Museum in Poznan , the Katowice Silesian Museum ( Muzeum Śląskie ) and the Stanislaw Fischer Museum in Bochnia .
