Pavel Vladimirovich Klushanzew
Pawel Vladimirovich Kluschanzew ( Russian Павел Владимирович Клушанцев ; born February 25, 1910 in Saint Petersburg , Russia , † April 27, 1999 in Saint Petersburg) was a Russian film director .
One of his most famous films is Planet der Stürme , of which there is also a German dubbed version and which belongs to the science fiction genre. This film was processed in the USA by Roger Corman into the films Voyage to the Prehistoric Planet (German journey to the prehistoric planet , 1965) and Voyage to the Planet of Prehistoric Women (German journey to the planet of prehistoric women , 1968), whereby he basic features retained the plot, but added a number of scenes and altogether adapted the films to the wishes of the American audience. There was also Kluschanzew's original with English subtitles.
