The Way to the Stars (OT: Russian Дорога к звёздам , transcribed Doroga k zvezdam ) is a Soviet science fiction documentary film from 1957, which received international attention because of its brilliant animation technique . The German synchronization comes from the DEFA studio for synchronization.

action

The film consists of a montage of game scenes in which the life of Ziolkowski and his efforts for space travel were staged, as well as trick scenes in which visions of space travel are portrayed, e.g. B. the first flight of a human in space and the first flight to the moon .

backgrounds

The DEFA dubbed version was based on a book by Heinz Nitzsche and directed by Thomas Ruttmann . The German speakers were Horst Schön and Rainer R. Lange . In 2010 the film was edited on DVD by Icestorm Entertainment .
