Pedro Galindo

Pedro Galindo Galarza (born August 16, 1906 in Mexico City , † October 8, 1989 ) was a Mexican singer, composer, actor and film producer.

Galindo composed numerous songs in different styles - from ranchera to bolero . La Malagueña became famous , a song he wrote with Elpidio Ramírez Burgos and which Quentin Tarantino used in the soundtrack of his film Kill Bill . Virgen de Medianoche were also successful in the interpretation of Daniel Santos and Viva México , which is often played on September 16, Mexico's independence day. With the brothers Nicandro and Roque Castillo and Elpidio Ramírez he founded the group Los Trovadores Chinacos in 1933 .
