Carla Berling
Carla Berling (born Peggy Wehmeier in Bad Oeynhausen on June 3, 1960 ) is a German author .
Life
After attending school, Berling trained as a retail saleswoman and then worked in various activities in retail, catering and the insurance industry. From 1995 she worked as a freelancer for the Westfalenblatt , in the editorial offices of various marketing magazines and as a prose editor for the magazine Federwelt , after which she worked for the Neue Westfälische . The first publications in literary magazines followed. Then she began to write books and give readings. In addition to crime novels , she also writes humorous women's books.
After self- publishing for a few years , her novel Mordkapelle , the fourth volume in the crime series about the journalist Ira Wittekind, was published by Heyne Verlag in 2017 . Berling lives in Cologne , is married and has two sons.
