Pekka Tirkkonen is a former Finnish ski jumper .
Career
Tirkkonen played his first and only international tournament with the Four Hills Tournament 1958/59 . He achieved his best individual result in sixth place in the opening competition on the Schattenbergschanze in Oberstdorf . He did not compete on the Great Olympic Hill in Garmisch-Partenkirchen . A few days later on the Bergiselschanze in Innsbruck he reached a good top 10 place in eighth place, but despite this success did not travel with the team to Bischofshofen . In the overall tour of the tour he reached 38th place with 596.1 points.
