Pelin Cizgin (born April 29, 1986 ) is a former Austrian cyclist who was active on the road and track .

Athletic career

In 2007 and 2008 Pelin Cizgin was Austrian runner-up, first in the road race , then in the individual time trial . At the European Rail Championships in Pruszkow in 2008 , she took tenth place in the scratch (U 23). In the same year she was Austrian champion in scratch and third in points and in the single pursuit , in 2010 she won the national title in the Omnium . At the 2011 Grand Prix Vienna she won the scratch and 500 meter time trial . In total, she won 15 national titles on the track in the course of her cycling career (as of 2014).

As of 2010, Cizgin held the current national track records over 200 meters ( flying start ) and 500 meters (standing start) and, since 2013, together with Elisabeth Reiner in the team sprint .
