The Pelly Mountains are a mountain range in the Yukon Intermountain Ranges northeast of the Yukon . The western flank extends from Carcross in the south over Whitehorse to Carmacks in the northwest. The Pelly Mountains are located in the Canadian Yukon Territory . With an extension of 288 km in north-south and 439 km in east-west direction, they cover an area of 44,014 km². The highest mountain is Fox Mountain at 2404 m.
The Pelly River forms the northern limit of the mountains. The sources of Nisutlin and Liard River are in the Pelly Mountains. The Selwyn Mountains connect to the northeast and the Cassiar Mountains to the southeast .
