Penis cage

Modern penis cage as a form of a chastity belt for men

A penis cage , more rarely a chastity clamp , is a sex toy for restraint or partial deprivation of self-control over male genitals . It is in the context of BDSM used activities and prevents under erotic role playing the erection , masturbation and to some extent the orgasm .

construction

A penis cage consists of a pipe section, usually made of plastic or stainless steel , which is pulled over the penis , fixed and secured with a small lock so that it cannot be removed without a key. The wearer of the penis cage is thereby deprived of access to his genitals and the possibility of an erection. All sexual acts should be controllable by the partner who has the key, the so-called keyholder . For safety reasons, for example due to a possible release from the cage after an accident, numbered one-time plastic locks are also used, which allow immediate release, but due to the numbering without the possibility of putting the clamp back on without being noticed by the keyholder .

Another model that is based on a different mode of operation is the so-called Hell's Gates . Instead of a section of tube, this sex toy has rings (usually seven) that narrow towards the tip of the penis. The orgasm itself cannot be prevented, but the erection becomes painful due to the increasing tightness.

In addition, there are also models made of leather or latex , which are rather short-term. Classic chastity belts fulfill the same purpose as a clamp, but cannot necessarily be reconciled with safety aspects and protection against detection (airport scanner or application under clothing).

Forms and effects

The duration of the game mostly depends on the mutual agreement of the partners and often follows the rules of safe, sane, consensual , the fundamental ideas in BDSM of safe, consensual action that is not harmful to health in the long term. Male chastity is one of the classic varieties of femdom , but is also used in homosexual relationships. The boundaries to cuckolding , a form of chastity in which the partner has other sexual partners, are fluid. In the extreme case, there is a so-called “never-inside relationship”, in which sexual intercourse is excluded within the relationship. An important element of the game with sexual withholding is tease and denial , the arousal and refusal, in which devices for chastity can be used to bridge the gap between the dominant, active partner (top) and the submissive, passive partner (bottom) to make it clearly and physically tangible. This can range from refusal to orgasm over the duration of a role play of a few hours, but it can also last over several weeks. Additional humiliation can be created by provoking an unpleasant ejaculation through prostate massage , which in the sadomasochistic subculture is usually referred to as "milking".

An increasing concentration of the person concerned on the sexual needs of his keyholder , similar to the effects of sensory deprivation , is described as one of the effects of the withholding game and is described as very erotic stimulation for people, control by their partner and erotic games in the context of tease and denial feel as pleasurable.

Medical aspects

Hygiene is a challenge when using a penis cage . The cage should be removed from the penis during body cleaning and should also be cleaned. Irrespective of this, prolonged wear can lead to chafing and infections.
