Penrose gold medal
The Penrose Gold Medal ( English R.AF Penrose Gold Medal ) of the Society of Economic Geologists (SEG) has been awarded since 1923 for outstanding life's work or original contributions in the geosciences . This also includes, for example, the discovery of deposits. It is awarded at least every three years. It is named after RAF Penrose .
There is also the Penrose Medal of the Geological Society of America .
