Tordères

Tordères is a French commune with 165 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Pyrénées-Orientales department in the Occitania region . It is located 20 kilometers southwest of Perpignan .

geography

Tordères is a commune in the Aspres region with a size of 991 hectares. The highest point is the Roc del Quers (391 m), the landscape is characterized by vineyards, olive trees, cork oak forests and the garigue . Llauro , Fourques , Passa and Montauriol are the closest neighboring communities.

history

From 1973 Tordères formed the municipality of Passa-Llauro-Tordères with Passa and Llauro . The three communities became independent again in 1989.
