Pecho Georgiev
Pentscho Georgiev , actually Pentscho Georgiev Popstojanow ( Bulgarian Пенчо Георгиев , born February 1, 1900 in Wraza , † April 2, 1940 in Sofia ), was a Bulgarian painter.
Life
Georgiev graduated from Sofia Art Academy in 1925 . From 1929 to 1934 he studied in Paris . Here he created a cycle of engravings . In later works he often portrayed simple people. He also worked as a stage decorator and as an illustrator of books.
