People's World

The People's World is a US-based , Marxist Online newspaper that the Communist Party of the United States near stands.

history

The daily newspaper, which has appeared exclusively online since 2009, is the continuation of the People's Weekly World, which has been published since 1990 . This was a grassroots journalism newspaper and a direct successor to People's Daily World , which in turn was a successor to the Daily Workers founded in 1924 .

People's Weekly World was created as a daily newspaper in 1986 after the newspaper titles Daily World and People's World merged to form Peoples's Daily Worker .

At the time of the greatest circulation, the People's Weekly World reached around 35,000 subscribers, always trying to achieve a large reach, primarily through the distribution of its texts.

Own representation

According to his own account, the focus of the reporting is on Marxist analyzes and views of the Communist Party of the USA and of other currents of the labor movement in the United States . It sees itself as the "voice of the workers , unemployed , people of color , immigrants , women , youth , senior citizens , the LGBTQ community, cultural workers , students and the disabled ".
