Pepea (also: Beabea , Peapea ) is a tiny island in the south of Ha'apai in the Pacific . Politically, it belongs to the Kingdom of Tonga .
geography
The motu is located in the Lulunga area on a line between ʻOʻua and Fakahiku in the east and Nukulai in the west.
climate
The climate is tropical hot, but is tempered by constantly blowing winds. Like the other islands in the Ha'apai group, Pepea is occasionally hit by cyclones .
