Peppino is an eight-part Swiss children's series that was realized in 1982 by Mario Cortesi and Condor Films .

action

The series is about the Sicilian guest worker child Peppino, who has to follow his father with the rest of the family to Switzerland. The linguistic differences and reservations of his classmates make it difficult for him to get used to his new surroundings until he makes friends with his classmate Monika and her parents, who make life in Switzerland easier for him.

In the series, Peppino is portrayed by Orazio Pulvirenti, Monika by Edith Vieli and Andi by Christoph Meyer. In Germany, the series was first broadcast on January 3, 1984 on ZDF .
