Eveline Hasler

Eveline Hasler (born March 22, 1933 in Glarus ) is a Swiss writer .

life and work

Eveline Hasler studied psychology and history at the University of Freiburg and in Paris . Then she was at her place of residence St. Gallen u. A. works as a secondary teacher . In the sixties and seventies she wrote books for children and young people , then increasingly poetry and narrative works for adults. Her novels mostly deal with topics from Swiss history . Hasler's work has received numerous awards - among other things, the work Come again, Pepino was listed on the list of honor for the Hans Christian Andersen Prize. Her books have so far been translated into twelve languages.

Eveline Hasler is a member of the Association of Authors of Switzerland and the German-Swiss PEN Center . Her papers are in the Swiss Literary Archives in Bern . The author lives in Ticino .
