The Peralta Rocks ( Spanish Rocas Peralta ) are a group of eight small cliff rocks off the coast of the Trinity Peninsula at the tip of the Antarctic Peninsula . They are spread 11 km north of the Cape Ducorps over an area of 18 km² (6 by 3 km).
Participants of the 4th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1949–1950) named them after Lieutenant Roberto Arturo Peralta Bell (1924–2006), deputy commander on board the tanker Lientur on this research trip . The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names translated this designation into English in 1964.
