The Perchuc Cone is an approximately 180 m high, small and young volcanic cone on Deception Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It rises from the ice northeast of Ronald Hill .
Polish scientists named it in 1999 after Edward Perchuc, the supposed discoverer of the cone on a Polish expedition in 1985. According to British information , geologist Donald Durston Hawkes (* 1934) from Wales mapped it as early as 1961 from the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey .
