Life
Afro-Canadian actor Percy Rodriguez began his film career in films and television in his native Canada in the 1950s. At the end of the 1950s he also appeared for the first time in American productions. Until the second half of the 1980s he worked in more than 80 film and television productions, including almost 20 cinema productions. He was mostly able to avoid playing stereotypical roles of black actors. For example, he played the high-ranking officer Stone in one episode of the science fiction series Spaceship Enterprise and in the television series Peyton Place towards the end of the 1960s he played the neurosurgeon Dr. Harry Miles.
