Peremyl (Ukrainian: Перемиль ; Russian: Перемиль / Peremil , Polish Peremyl ) is a village with about 1000 inhabitants in the Volyn Oblast in Ukraine .
The historical foundation date of the village on the banks of the Styr is the year 1097.
Peremyl is the center of a district municipality in the south of Rajon Horokhiv to which even the villages Bohuniwka ( Богунівка ) Humnyschtsche ( Гумнище ) Lypa ( Липа ) and Staryky ( Старики ) belong.
A castle in the village was the center of the Principality of Peremyschl Principality of Kievan Rus .
