Persib Bandung is a football club from Bandung , Indonesia . The club currently plays in the country's highest league, the Indonesia Super League . The club plays its home games at the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium . The association was founded on July 13, 1933 under the name BIVB ( Bandoeng Inlandsche Voetbal Bond ). The club was one of the co-founders of the Indonesian Football Association PSSI . After winning the championship in 1994/95, the club took part in the AFC Champions League , and reached the quarter-finals. Thailand goalkeeper Kosin Hathairattanakool played for one season with Persib Bandung in 2006. In 2014 the club was able to celebrate the championship for the second time. In the subsequent AFC Champions League 2015 they were eliminated in the second qualifying round with 0: 4 against the Vietnamese participant Hà Nội T&T .
