Plague Chapel in Kimratshofen

The plague chapel is located in Kimratshofen , a district of Altusried in the Oberallgäu district ( Bavaria ). The chapel , which was built in the 17th and 18th centuries, is a listed building. It is designed as a rectangular post construction with a hipped roof . In 1948 the chapel was renovated.

The altar is modern and contains a painting which is signed Josef Schugg 1948 . The Pietà is late Gothic and dates from around 1480. St. Agatha is shown on a votive picture . The rural crucifix dates from the 18th century .
