Petar Krstić
Petar Krstić (born February 18, 1877 in Belgrade ; † January 21, 1957 there ) was a Yugoslav composer .
Krstić studied with Robert Fuchs and Guido Adler in Vienna . He was Kapellmeister and music teacher in Belgrade and musical director of Radio Belgrade . In addition, he worked from 1922 as an editor for the magazine Muzički glasnik .
In addition to two operas ( Zulumćar , 1927 and Ženidba Jankovic Stojana , 1948) and several pieces of theatrical music, he composed two overtures , a suite for strings, chamber music works, a cantata ( Jutro slobode, 1919), choral works and songs .
