Player career

National

Petar Sanew began his footballing career at the age of 19 in his Bulgarian hometown with Pirin Blagoevgrad . There he played consistently in the first team for a season until he moved to the Bulgarian top club Litex Lovetsch in 2005 . His Bulgarian compatriot and sponsor Christo Stoitschkow brought him to the Spanish second division club Celta Vigo , where he did not get a chance, which was also due to the dismissal of Stoitschkow in October 2007. For the second half of the season he was loaned to Celta's league rivals Racing de Ferrol , where he was now used regularly, but had to return to Bulgaria due to Ferrol's relegation to the third division. In the following years he managed to return to the top Bulgarian with Litex. After winning the Cup in 2009 , he and his team won the 2009/10 and 2010/11 championships.

In the summer of 2012, Sanew left Litex and moved to Wolyn Lutsk in the Ukrainian Premjer-Liha . A year later he moved to Amkar Perm in Russia.
