Pete Briggs

Pete Briggs (* 1904 in Charleston , South Carolina ; † unknown) was an American tuba player and bassist.

Briggs played tuba in Louis Armstrong 's famous Hot Seven in 1927 and then in his orchestra ( Hot Fives & Sevens ), also in Carroll Dickerson's Orchestra, with Jelly Roll Morton , Jimmie Noone , Edgar Hayes , Vernon Andrade and finally in 1943 with Herman Autrey , then withdrew from music.
